Questions travellers ask
For the classic wide panorama, a high lookout such as Nanshan One Tree Viewing Platform takes in the whole peninsula. For a dramatic overhead angle on the confluence there is the Raffles City sky bridge, and for a river-level frame of Hongya Cave there is Nanbin Road. We usually pair a high lookout with one contrasting angle rather than rushing all of them.
We aim to reach the first high lookout just before blue hour, when the sky still holds colour and the towers switch on. That short window gives the richest contrast between the sky and the neon. The exact time shifts with the season's sunset, and we confirm it with you in writing beforehand.
Liziba, where the metro runs through a residential building, is included as a quick lit stop on request, though it reads most clearly by day or at blue hour rather than in full dark. If it matters to you, tell us and we will place it early in the route while there is still some light in the sky.
It can be a lovely finish, giving a moving skyline view of the illuminated banks from the water rather than a fixed vantage point. Weather and the sailing schedule affect it, so it suits a flexible plan. If you add it we time it around the brightest banks and keep a strong land viewpoint ready in case a sailing is cancelled.
This tour is a viewpoint circuit: high lookouts, a bridge angle, a river-level frame and an optional cruise, all chosen for the strongest panoramic skyline. The evening night tour is about being down in the city, walking Jiefangbei and Hongya Cave and finishing with hotpot. Choose this one if the wide skyline and photos are your priority.
Send your travel dates, number of travellers and hotel level, and we reply with a free tailored plan and a clear price range; private packages usually save against booking each viewpoint and transfer separately. To confirm, a deposit secures the date and the balance is settled in person in China after you arrive and sign your written tour contract, with all details set out in writing.
